Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Campbell DeYoung, 5-10 Sr. Kobe Blake, 6-5 Jr. Abe Nelson, 5-10 Sr. Will Stanfield, and 5-10 So. Jayd Huynh.  Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay Sr. countered with 6-0 Jr. Camdyn Combs, 6-0 Sr. RJ Smith, 6-0 Jr. Eric Hackett, 5-9 Jr. DeKeiven Duong, and 5-10 So. Sam Parrish.

Lafayette defeated Tates Creek by the score of 59-54 in a game that had six ties and four lead changes.  Lafayette shot 42% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 46.7% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers.

Will Stanfield led Lafayette with 16 points including two three point baskets, six of seven free throws, and seven rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Torri Turner added 15 points and seven rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Daniel Kinley recorded eight points and Abe Nelson scored seven points

Eric Hackett led Tates Creek with 18 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Sam Parrish added 14 points including two three point baskets.  DeKeiven Duong recorded eight points including two three point baskets.  RJ Smith chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and two assists.
