Scott County vs. Great Crossing (Boys)

Scott County coach Tim Glann started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-2 Jr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Sr.Elias Richardson, 5-8 Sr. Chase Grigsby, and 6-1 Jr. Micah Glenn.  Great crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-2 Jr. Tye Schureman, 6-0 Sr. Tyler Sparks, 6-4 Jr. Kalib Perry, 5-7 Fr. Junius Burrell, and 5-10 Jr. Carson Walls.

 

Scott County defeated Great Crossing by the score of 56-40.  Scott County shot 39% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored eight points off 18 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 30% from the field including for of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks were zeo of two from the free throw line, Pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.

 

Elias Richardson led Scott County with 18 points and six rebounds.  Isaiah Haynes added 14 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Micah Glenn recorded eight points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  6-3 Jr. Nick Mosby chipped in with five points, eight rebounds, and two assists.

 

Junius Burrell led Grat Crossing with 10 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Carson Walls added seven points, five rebounds, and two assists.  Kalib Perry recorded six points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.
