West Jessamine coach Thomas Chestnut started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Alleyse Steinkuhl, 5-10 Jr. Aaliyah Edenstrom, 6-0 7th Grade Anaya Chestnut, 5-5 Sr. Haylee Rurherford, and 5-7 Abby Jo Fitch. Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-9 Fr. Ava Schureman, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Smith, 6-0 6-0 So. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Sr. Braylee McMath, and 5-7 Jr. Timothi Williams.
Great Crossing defeated West Jessamine by the score of 71-36. Great Crossing shot 45.8% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 24.5% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on eight of 20 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Great Crossing turnovers.
Braylee McMath led Great Crossing with 24 points including two three point baskets, two assists, and six steals. Raegan Barrett added 15 points including five of five free throws and six rebounds. Timothi Williams recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.
Anaya Chestnut led West Jessamine with eight points. Abby Jo Fitch added seven points and three rebounds. 6-0 Jr. Delaysia Thomas recorded six points and four rebounds.
