Harlan County coach Michael Jones started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Jackson Huff, 6-0 Sr. Josh Turner, 6-4 Sr. Tyler Cole, 6-6 Fr. Trent Noah, and 5-10 So. Daniel Carmical.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-0 Sr. Torri Turner, 5-10 Sr. Nick Napier, 5-10 Sr. Iren Doneghy, 5-8 Sr. Kyle Raines, and 6-2 Sr. Jack Toy.

 

Harlan County defeated Lafayette by the score of 68-62.  The score was tied seven ties and six lead changes in the game.  Harlan County shot 46.8% from the field including 10 of 22 from the three point line.  The Black Bears connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 42.6% from the field including nine of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on one of two free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Harlan County turnovers.

 

Trent Noah led Harlan County with 16 points including seven of eight free throws, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.  6-1 8th Grade Maddox Huff added 16 points including four three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Tyler Cole recorded 14 points and five rebounds.  Daniel Carmical scored nine points on three three point baskets.  Jackson Huff chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.

 

Torri Turner led Lafayette with 16 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Kyle Raines added nine points including two three point baskets.  5-10 Sr. Will Stanfield recorded eight points including two three point baskets.  5-10 Sr. Kobe Blake chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, and three assists.  6-2 Sr. Daniel Kinley added seven points.
