Franklin County coach Joey Thacker started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Patience Laster, 5-5 Jr. Leshauvion Kennedy, 6-1 Jr. Jazmin Chambers, 5-2 Jr. Nevaeh Carter, and 5-6 Sr. Brooklynn Miles. Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-9 Fr. Ava Schureman, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Smith, 6-0 So. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Sr. Braylee McMath, and 5-7 Jr. Timothi Williams.
Franklin County defeated Great Crossing by the score of 67-52. Franklin County shot 53.2% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Flyers connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 33.3% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc. The Warhawks connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Franklin County turnovers.
Patience Laster led Franklin County with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Brooklynn Miles added 10 points, two assists, and four steals. 6-4 So. Jhaven Meade recorded 10 points and five rebounds. Leshauvion Kennedy chipped in with nine points. Nevaeh Carter added eight points and six rebounds.
Rachel Smith led Great Crossing with 14 points including four three point baskets. Braylee McMath added 12 points including four of four free throws, four rebounds, and five assists. Timothi Williams recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Ava Schureman chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets and two steals.
