Ryle coach Katie Haitz started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Quinn Eubank, 5-11 So. Abby Holtman, 6-1 Fr. Sarah Baker, 5-10 Jr. Austin Johnson, and 5-10 Sr. Bri Crittendon.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-10 Jr. Josie Gilvin, 5-8 Fr. Reagen Bender, 6-0 Jr. Alex Wolff, 5-6 So. Triniti Ralston, and 5-6 Sr. Maggie Montano.

 

Sacred Heart trailed 47-38 in the third quarter but rallied to earn a 71-62 victory over Ryle.  There were four ties and three lead changes in the game.  Sacred Heart shot 40.7% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 30 Ryle turnovers.  Ryle shot 52.3% from the field including five of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Triniti Ralston led Sacred Heart Academy with 25 points including two three point baskets, 11 of 14 free throws, two rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  5-7 Sr. Aubree Littlejohn added 13 points, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Alex Wolff recorded 10 points and three rebounds.  Josie Gilvin chipped in with nine points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four steals.

 

Brie Crittendon led Ryle with 14 points, two assists, and three steals.  Abby Holtman added 14 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.  Austin Johnson recorded 14 points including six of seven free throws, four rebounds, and three assists.  Sarah Baker chipped in with 13 points, two rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Quinn Eubank pulled down 13 rebounds.
