Woodford County coach Jaron Brown started the following lineup: Jr. Blake Asher, 5-11 Jr. Logan Taylor, 6-4 Sr. Hunter Penn, 5-8 Fr. Tyler Doyle, and 5-10 Jr. Brian White.  Wolfe County coach Robert Creech countered with 6-0 Jr. Sawyer Thompson, 6-0 Sr. Jaz Johnson, 6-8 Fr. Skylar Richie, 5-10 Sr. Wilgus Tolson, and 5-11 Sr. Elijah Tolson.

Woodford County trailed 23-22 at halftime but the Yellow Jackets rallied to outscore Wolfe County 19-7 in the third quarter on their way to a 67-58 victory.  There were five lead changes and one tie in this game.  Woodford County shot 51% from the field including eight of 16 from the three point line.  The Yellow Jackets connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Wolfe County turnovers.  Wolfe County shot 43.2% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Wolves connected on 19 of 21 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 20 Woodford County turnovers.

5-9 Sr. Isaiah Lester led Woodford County with 12 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds.  Brian White added 11 points including three three point baskets and three steals.  Hunter Penn recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.  Tyler Doyle chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.

Jaz Johnson led Wolfe County with 22 points, four rebounds, and five steals.  Wilgus Tolson added 10 points including eight of eight free throws, three rebounds, three assists, and six steals.  Sawyer Thompson recorded nine points and seven rebounds.  5-11 Sr. Cody Peyton chipped in with nine points including five of five free throws.
