Highlands coach Kevin Listerman started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Oliver Harris, 6-3 Sr. Sam Vinson, 6-5 Jr. Luke Muller, 5-9 So. William Herald, and 5-9 Jr. Zachary Barth.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Jack Gohmann, 6-4 So. Hudson Sparks, 6-10 So. Reece Potter, 6-1 Sr. Ryan Russell, and 6-2 Sr. Ben Johnson.

 

Lexington Catholic defeated Highlands by the score of 73-57.  Lexington Catholic shot 50% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 11 Highlands turnovers.  Highlands shot 38.2% from the field including nine of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Bluebirds connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

 

Ben Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 29 points including four three point baskets, eight rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.  Reece Potter added 15 points including five of five free throws, 11 rebounds, and two steals.  Jack Gohmann recorded 10 points.  Ryan Russell chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and three assists.

 

Sam Vinson led Highlands with 19 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Zachary Barth added 10 points including two three point baskets.  Luke Muller recorded nine points on three three point baskets.
