Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Darik Holman, 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-3 Sr. Harrison Lynch, 5-8 So. Konlin Brown, and 6-1 Jr. Kanye Henderson.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Jack Gohmann, 6-1 Sr. Ryan Russell, 6-10 So. Reece Potter, 6-2 So. Brody Turner, and 6-2 Sr. Ben Johnson.

 

Lexington Catholic took control of the game early leading Henry Clay 25-9 in the first quarter on their way to a 69-54 victory.  Lexington Catholic shot 54.5% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on six of six free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 10 points off eight Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 36.7% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Lexington Catholic turnovers.

 

Ben Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 29 points including four of four free throws, 10 rebounds, and five assists.  Reece Potter added 10 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Ryan Russell recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Jack Gohmann chipped in with 10 points, , two three bounds, three assists, and two steals. 

 

Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Kanye Henderson added nine points, five rebounds, and two assists.  Konlin Brown, 5-8 Jr. Sincere Madison, and Harrison Lynch each scored eight points.  Darik Holman added five points and eight rebounds.
