Madison Southern coach Austin Newton started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Trent DeVries, 6-1 So. Jay Rose, 6-4 So. Brett Erslan, 5-8 Jr. Walter Smith, and 5-7 So. Zach Hudson.  Harrison County coach Terence Brooks countered with 6-2 Sr. Clay Carpenter, 6-1 Sr. James David Soard, 6-3 Jr. Blaine Biddle, 5-10 Sr. Tayshaun Custard, and 6-0 Fr. Kaydon Custard.

Madison Southern connected on 11 three point baskets in a 78-47 victory over Harrison County.  Madison Southern shot 50.9% from the field including 11 of 26 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Harrison County turnovers.  Harrison County shot 32% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 12 of 23 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Madison Southern turnovers.

Trent DeVries led Madison Southern with 17 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Jayden Adams added 16 points including four three point baskets, four of four free throws, and four assists.  Brett Erslan recorded 15 points and seven rebounds.  Jay Rose chipped in with 13 points including seven of seven free throws, 10 rebounds, and three assists.  Zach Hudson added eight points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.

James David Soard led Harrison County with 20 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals. Clay Carpenter added 12 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists.
