Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Campbell DeYoung, 6-2 Sr. Daniel Kinley, 6-5 Jr. Abe Nelson, 5-10 Sr. Will Stanfield, and 5-10 Sr. Kobe Blake.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-2 Jr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-3 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Sr. Chase Grigsby, and 6-1 Jr. Micah Glenn.

 

Scott County trailed 41-36 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Lafayette by the score of 60-54.  There were two lead changes and two ties in this game.  Scott County shot 42.9% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 37.2% from the field including one of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

 

6-4 Sr. Elias Richardson led Scott County with 21 points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Nick Mosby added 15 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Isaiah Haynes recorded six points and four rebounds.

 

Campbell DeYoung led Lafayette with nine points including five of six free throws, and six rebounds.  Abe Nelson added nine points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Daniel Kinley recorded nine points including four of four free throws.  6-0 Sr. Tori Turner chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, and two steals.
