Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Josie Gilvin, 5-8 Fr. Reagan Bender, 6-0 Jr. Alex Wolff, 5-6 So. Triniti Ralston, and 5-6 Sr.Maggie Montano. North Laurel coach Eddie Mahan Jr. countered with 5-10 8th Grade Halle Collins, 5-8 Jr. Emily Sizemore, 6-1 Fr. Chloe McKnight, 5-3 8th Grade Brooke Nickelson, and 5-7 Jr. Hailee Valentine.
Sacred Heart Academy defeated North Laurel by the score of 87-76. Sacred Heart Academy shot 54.7% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 North Laurel turnovers. North Laurel shot 40% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jaguars connected on 23 of 30 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored seven points off 15 Sacred Heart turnovers.
Josie Gilvin recorded a triple double, 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead Sacred Heart Academy. Reagan Bender added 19 points, five rebounds, and six assists. Triniti Ralston recorded 13 points including four of five free throws, three rebounds, and three assists. 5-11 Fr. Angelina Pelayo chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds.
Hailee Valentine led North Laurel with 22 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists. Emily Sizemore added 20 points including nine of 11 free throws, four rebounds, and three steals. Chloe McKnight recorded 18 points and four rebounds. Halle Collins added 16 points, 14 rebounds, and three assists.
