Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Elise Ellison-Coons, 5-7 Jr. Carley Hinshaw, 5-10 Sr. Haley Gadd, 5-8 Jr. Aziah Campbell, and 5-8 Sr. Tanaya Cecil.  Lexington Catholic coach Donald L. Tegt countered with 5-11 Jr. Chloe Treece, 5-8 Sr. Farah Weldon, 5-10 Sr. Emma Frank, 5-6 Jr. Hannah Carlisle, and 5-7 So. Katherine Truitt.

Paul Laurence Dunbar trailed Lexington Catholic 25-24 at halftime but outscored the Lady Knights 20-5 in the third quarter on their way to a 56-40 victory.  The score was tied twice and there were six lead changes in the game.  Dunbar shot 36.7% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 21 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 35.6% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on four of 11 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Dunbar turnovers.

Elise Ellison-Coons led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 16 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Tanaya Cecil added 11 points including three three point baskets and four assists.  Haley Gadd recorded 10 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Aziah Campbell chipped in with nine points, nine rebounds, three assists, and five steals.

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals.  Chloe Treece added 10 points and six rebounds.  Hannah Carlisle recorded eight points including two three point baskets.
