Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-3 Sr. Darik Holman, 6-3 Sr. Harrison Lynch, 5-8 Jr. Sincere Madison, and 6-1 Jr. Kanye Henderson.  Shelby County coach Eddie Oakley countered with 6-4 So. Timothy Fuller II, 6-0 Jr. JaShon Marshall, 6-1 Sr. Austin Griffin, 6-0 Sr. Isaac Chandler, and 6-0 Sr. Trenton Burchfield.

Henry Clay trailed 20-8 after the first quarter but the Blue Devils rallied for a 75-65 victory over Shelby County.  There were five lead changes and six ties in this game.  Henry Clay shot 52.8% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 16 Shelby County turnovers.  Shelby County shot 61% from the field including five of eight from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored seven points off seven Henry Clay turnovers.

Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 30 points including nine of 13 free throws, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  5-8 So. Konlin Brown added 12 points on four three point baskets.  Kanye Henderson recorded nine points, three assists, and two steals.  6-0 So. Mason Hawkins chipped in with eight points.

Timothy Fuller II led Shelby County with 22 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists.  Austin Griffin added 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Isaac Chandler recorded 11 points and four rebounds.  JaShon Marshall chipped in with six points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
