Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-3 So.Tyler Hall, 6-1 Jr. Jeffrey Selby, 6-4 Jr. Pierce Ragland, 6-1 8th Grade Andersen Green, and 6-2 Jr. Tanner Walton. Montgomery County coach Steve Wright countered with 6-0 Sr. JT Woosley, 5-11 Jr. Trey Carroll, 6-6 Sr. Rickey Lovette, 5-9 Sr. Brandon Dyer, and 6-0 Jr. Hagan Harrison.
Montgomery County raced out to a 25-12 first quarter lead on their way to a 75-64 victory over Lexington Christian Academy. Montgomery County shot 47.5% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 17 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 54.2% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Montgomery County turnovers.
Hagan Harrison led Montgomery County with 30 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Rickey Lovette added 15 points, six rebounds, and two assists. JT Woosley recorded nine points and four rebounds. Brandon Dyer recorded eight points, four rebounds, and two assists. Trey Carroll recorded four points, three rebounds, four assists, and five steals.
Tanner Walton led LCA with 32 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, four blocked shots, and two steals. Jeffrey Selby added nine points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
