Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Josie Gilvin, 5-8 Fr. Raegan Bender, 6-0 Jr. Alex Wolff, 5-5 So. Triniti Ralston, and 5-6 Sr. Maggie Montano.  Christian Academy of Louisville coach Cameron Pridemore countered with 5-9 Sr. Delaney Gardner, 5-6 Fr. Savannah Gardner, 6-0 Sr. Sydney Raque, 5-6 Jr. Abigail Embry, and 5-7 Jr. Jaya McClure.

 

Sacred Heart trailed 30-26 but rallied in the second half to defeat Christian Academy of Louisville by the score of 59-51.  There were six lead changes and three ties in this game.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 40% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 10 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 40% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored four points off eight Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Triniti Ralston led Sacred Heart Academy with 13 points on seven of seven free throws, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Maggie Montano added 11 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Olivia Kaufman recorded nine points on three three point baskets.  Josie Gilvin chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Raegan Bender added seven points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Alex Wolff recorded six points, nine rebounds, and two assists.  5-11 Fr. Angelina Pelayo chipped in with six points and three rebounds.

 

Jaya McClure led CAL with 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  Sydney Raque added 12 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds.  Abigail Embry recorded 11 points, three rebounds, and two steals.  Savannah Gardner chipped in with nine points, six rebounds, and two steals.
