Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Macie Daniels, 5-7 Sr. Lacie Parks, 6-0 Jr. Reece Estep, 5-6 Sr. Morgan Flannery, and 5-7 Sr. Samantha Cornelison.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Jr. Olivia Cathers, 5-7 Jr. Lauren Walton, 6-0 Jr. Anaya Brown, 5-1 Jr. Catherine Jacobs, and 5-7 So. Kiley Noble.

 

Madison Southern outscored Lafayette 18-3 in the final quarter to pull away for a 52-36 victory.  Madison Southern shot 35.6% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored six points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 30% from the field including fourof 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 Madison Southern turnovers.

 

Samantha Cornelison led Madison Southern with 14 points including seven of 10 free throws, four rebounds, and three steals.  Lacie Parks added nine points and two assists.  Macie Daniels recorded seven points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Reece Estep chipped in with six points, nine rebounds, and two assists.  Morgan Flannery added six points, five assists, and two steals.

 

Anaya Brown led Lafayette with 11 points, 13 rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.  Kiley Noble added seven points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists.  5-5 So. Gracyn Grantz recorded seven points and four rebounds.  Olivia Cathers chipped in with five points and six rebounds.
