Danville coach Judi Mason started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Lara Akera, 5-8 Sr. Jenna Akers, 5-10 So. Desiree Tandy, 5-7 Jr. Love Mays, and 5-7 Sr. Ahyana Burnett.  Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-9 Fr. Ava Schureman, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Smith, 6-0 Sr. Lauren Tucker, 5-1 Sr. Braylee McMath, and 5-5 Sr. Hailey Ward.

 

Danville outscored Great Crossing 23-14 in the first quarter on their way to an 80-67 victory over the Lady Warhawks.  Danville shot 56.9% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Admirals connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 37.7% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Warhawks connected on 19 of 22 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 12 points off eight Danville turnovers.

 

Love Mays led Danville with 23 points including five of seven free throws and eight rebounds.  Lara Akers added 22 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals.  Desiree Tandy recorded 12 points including six of seven free throws, and four rebounds.  Jenna Akers chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets.

 

Braylee McMath led Great Crossing with 20 points including nine of 10 free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  5-7 Jr. Timothi Williams added 18 points including two three point baskets and eight of eight free throws.  Rachel Smith recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.
