Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Allison Wallace, 5-5 Sr. Kourtesy Lee, 6-0 Fr. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington, 5-1 Jr. Bradley Price, and 5-5 Sr. Kasia Parks.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-9 So. Jamya Smith, 5-7 So. Alli Stone, 5-11 Jr. Kennedy Williams, 5-7 Fr. Lucy VanMeter, and 5-7 Sr. Ravion Jackson.

 

Frederick Douglass defeated Henry Clay by the score of 51-47.  There were four ties and four lead changes in this game.  Frederick Douglass shot 40.4% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Broncos connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 37.3% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

 

Allison Wallace led Frederick Douglass with 23 points including three three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and four steals.  Kasia Parks added 11 points including five of eight free throws, six rebounds, and three assists.  Ayanna-Sarai Darrington recorded eight points and six rebounds.  Kourtesy Lee chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.

 

Kennedy Williams led Henry Clay with 14 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Alli Stone added 13 points and seven rebounds.  Ravion Jackson recorded nine points and four assists.  Lydia VanMeter chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.
