Walton-Verona coach Mike Hester started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Trey Ferguson, 6-1 Jr. Brant Smithers, 6-3 Jr. Cameron Christy, 5-9 Sr. Conner Davis, and 5-9 So. Carter Krohman.  Lyon County coach Ryan Perry countered with 6-3 Fr. Brady Shoulders, 6-2 Fr. Travis Perry, 6-5 Jr. Jackson Shoulders, 6-0 Fr. Jack Reddick, and 6-1 Jr. Gunnar Bingham.

Walton-Verona trailed 39-28 at halftime but rallied to defeat Lyon County by the score of 74-70.  The score was tied four times and there were seven lead changes in this game.  Walton-Verona shot 39.3% from the field including 14 of 32 from the three point line.  The Bearcats connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Lyon County turnovers.  Lyon County shot 47.5% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lyons connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Walton-Verona turnovers.

Conner Davis led Walton-Verona with 25 points including seven three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Brant Smithers added 23 points including five three point baskets, nine rebounds, and three assists.  Carter Krohman recorded nine points including four of five free throws, two rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.  Cameron Christy chipped in with seven points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Trey Ferguson added seven points and five rebounds.

Travis Perry led Lyon County with 24 points including two three point baskets, four of six free throws, five rebounds, eight assists, and five steals.  Jackson Shoulders added 19 points, nine rebounds, and two assists.  Brady Shoulders recorded eight points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Gunnar Bingham chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and two assists.  Jack Reddick added four points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
