Eastern Kentucky University AW Hamilton started the following lineup: 6-7 So. Michael Moreno, 6-5 Fr. Curt Lewis, 6-9 Jr. Tre King, 5-11 Fr. Wendell Green Jr., and 6-1 Jr. Cooper Robb.  University Tennessee Martin coach Montez Robinson countered with 6-9 Jr. Ajani Kennedy, 6-6 Jr. Jaron Williams, 6-11 Sr.Hannes Polla, 6-1 Jr. Kenton Eskridge, and 6-5 S0. Eman Sertovic.

Eastern Kentucky trailed 40-37 at halftime but rallied in the second half to defeat University Tennessee Martin by a score of 89-72.  There were eight lead changes and seven ties in this game.  Eastern Kentucky shot 54.4% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 20 of 31 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 University Tennessee Martin turnovers.  UTM shot 45.9% from the field including nine of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Skyhawks connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Tre King led Eastern Kentucky with 24 points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.  King was 10 of 13 from the field and four of six from the free throw line.  Wendell Green Jr. added 17 points including four of five free throws, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  Curt Lewis recorded 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Cooper Robb chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, and two steals.  6-6 Fr. Devontae Blanton added nine points and three rebounds.

6-7 Fr. Anthony Thomas led University Tennessee Martin with 16 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.  6-5 Jr. Cameron Holden added 13 points, 18 rebounds, six assists, and four steals.  Ajani Kennedy recorded 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists.  Eman Sertovic chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets
