Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Macie Daniels, 5-7 Sr. Lacie Parks, 6-0 Jr. Reece Estep, 5-6 Jr. Morgan Flannery, and 5-7 Sr. Samantha Cornelison. Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-9 Fr. Ava Schureman, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Smith, 6-0 So. Raegan Barrett, 5-1 Sr. Braylee McMath, and 5-7 Jr. Timothi Williams.
Great Crossing defeated Madison Southern by the score of 83-44. Great Crossing shot 54% from the field including 13 of 27 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on two of four free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 24.5% from the field including four of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Great Crossing turnovers.
Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 22 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Rachel Smith added 18 points including four three point baskets, and five assists. Braylee McMath recorded 17 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Raegan Barrett chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, and three steals.
Reece Estep led Madison Southern with 10 points including six of six free throws, four rebounds, and two blocked shots. Samantha Cornelison added eight points and six rebounds. Macie Daniels recorded seven points.
