Eastern Kentucky University coach AW Hamilton started the following lineup: 6-7 So. Michael Moreno, 6-5 Fr. Curt Lewis, 6-9 Jr. Tre King, 5-11 Fr. Wendell Green Jr., and 6-1 Jr. Cooper Robb.  Southeast Missouri coach Brad Korn countered with 6-6 Jr. Nana Akenten, 6-3 Jr. Chris Harris, 6-8 Sr. Manny Patterson, 6-1 So. DQ Nicholas, and 6-2 Jr. Eric Reed Jr.

Eastern Kentucky University tallied 14 three point baskets today in an 87-65 victory over Southeast Missouri.  There were four ties and four lead changes in this game.  Eastern Kentucky shot 50.8% from the field including 14 of 23 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 SEMO turnovers.  SEMO shot 38.2% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Redhawks connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Wendell Green Jr. led Eastern Kentucky with 23 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, and four assists.  Tre King added 15 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three blocked shots, and one steal.  Curt Lewis recorded 14 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four assists.  Cooper Robb chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals.  6-6 Fr. Devontae Blanton added 10 points, six rebounds, and two assists.  Michael Moreno recorded six points on two three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and four steals.

Chris Harris led SEMO with 15 points including two three point baskets, five of five free throws, two rebounds, seven assists, and four steals.  Nana Akenten added 13 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  6-8 Sr. Darrious Agnew recorded nine points and seven rebounds.  Eric Reed Jr. chipped in with eight points.
