Ashland Blazer coach Jason Mays started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Cole Villers, 6-2 Fr. Zander Carter, 6-8 Sr. Sean Marcum, 5-11 So. Colin Porter, and 6-1 Jr. Ethan Sellars.  Simon Kenton coach Trent Steiner countered with 6-1 Jr. Andrew Smith, 6-1 Jr. Isaac Miller, 6-1 Jr. Hayden Carson, 5-6 Fr. Travis Krohman, and 6-2 Sr. Kelly Niece.

Simon Kenton defeated Ashland Blazer by the score of 87-85.  Simon Kenton shot 63% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Pioneers connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and committed eight turnovers.  Ashland Blazer shot 57% from the field including 11 of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Tomcats connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers.

Kelly Niece led Simon Kenton with 42 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists.  Isaac Miller added 19 points, two rebounds, and two steals.  6-1 Sr. Justin Eversole recorded eight points and seven rebounds.  6-1 Jr. Hayden Carson chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.

Carson Villers led Ashland Blazer with 35 points including eight three point baskets and four rebounds.  Colin Porter added 21 points.  Ethan Sellars recorded 15 points.  Sean Marcum tallied 12 points and 11 rebounds.
