Covington Holy Cross coach Brandon Grammer started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Jeremiah Hicks, 6-0 Jr. Dylan Arlinghaus, 6-9 So. Sam Gibson, 6-0 So. Jacob Meyer, and 6-0 Sr. Blake Robinson.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Jack Gohmann, 6-4 So. Hudson Sparks, 6-10 So. Reece Potter, 6-1 Sr. Ryan Russell, and 6-2 Sr. Ben Johnson.

Lexington Catholic shot a sizzling 60.7% from the field in a 99-56 victory over Covington Holy Cross.  Lexington Catholic connected on 10 of 25 from the three point line, 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 13 Holy Cross turnovers.  Holy Cross shot 33.3% from the field including four of 23 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored four points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Ben Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 26 points including five three point baskets, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Jack Gohmann added 13 points, six assists, and four steals.  Hudson Sparks recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists.  Ryan Russell chipped in with 12 points.  Reece Potter added 10 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  6-8 So. John McCrear recorded eight points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Jacob Meyer led Covington Holy Cross with 31 points including six of seven free throws, four rebounds, and two steals.  Jeremiah Hicks added eight points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Dylan Arlinghaus recorded six points and five rebounds.  Blake Robinson chipped in with six points on two three point baskets and two rebounds.
