Frederick Douglass coach Jason Moseley started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Julius Scearce, 6-2 Sr. Connor Haga, 6-4 Jr. Tyson Barrett, 5-8 Sr. Khamri McMullen, and 6-3 Se. DaShawn Jackson.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-3 Jr. Nick Mosby, 6-2 Jr. Jeremy Hamilton. 6-4 Sr. Elias Richardson, 5-10 Jr. Andrew Willhite, and 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton.

Frederick Douglass defeated Scott County by the score of 77-59.  Frederick Douglass shot 53.7% from the field including 10 of 21 from the three point line.  The Broncos connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 40% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 12 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

DaShawn Jackson led Frederick Douglass with 18 points including four three point baskets, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Julius Scearce added 17 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Connor Haga recorded 11 points and four rebounds.  Tyson Barrett chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds. 6-0 So. Tylon Webb also scored nine points.

Jeremy Hamilton led Scott County with 16 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Elias Richardson added 14 points and eight rebounds.  Nick Mosby recorded 13 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals.  JZ Middleton chipped in with six points on two three point baskets and five assists.
