Bryan Station coach Brian Hall started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Tania Woodall, 5-8 Fr. Victory Sledge, 6-2 Sr. Olea Woodall, 5-5 So. Emily Gomez, and 5-4 Sr. Escarlis Perez.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Sr. Kaylie Wise, 5-7 Jr. Brianna Penney, 6-0 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-6 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, and 5-6 Jr. Emma Price.

 

Scott County outscored Bryan Station 22-8 in the third quarter on their way to an 82-60 victory over Bryan Station.  There were six lead changes and five ties in this game.  Scott County shot 43.2% from the field including nine of 31 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 36 points off 29 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 44.2% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady  Defenders connected on seven of 17 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Scott County turnovers.

 

Emma Price led Scott County with 25 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and six steals.  Kenady Tompkins added 17 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Maleiyah Moore recorded 14 points including two three point baskets and five assists.  Kaylie Wise chipped in with 10 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.  5-6 So. Tyra Young added nine points, four rebounds, and three assists.

 

Tania Woodall led Bryan Station with 23 points including four three point baskets, 12 rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  5-6 So. Makari Murphy added 13 points including two three point baskets. Victory Sledge recorded eight points and five rebounds.  Emily Gomez chipped in with six points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
