Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. Started the following lineup: 5-9 Fr. Ava Schureman, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Smith, 6-0 So. Raegan Barrett, 5-4 Sr. Hailey Ward, and 5-7 Jr. Timothi Williams.  Christian Academy of Louisville coach Cameron Pridemore countered with 5-9 Sr. Delaney Gardner, 5-6 Fr. Savannah Gardner, 6-0 Sr. Sydney Raque, 5-6 Jr. Abigail Embry, and 5-7 Jr. Jaya McClure.

 

Christian Academy of Louisville defeated Great Crossing 58-57 in overtime.  CAL led Great Crossing 26-9 early in the second quarter and 52-42 after three quarters but the Warhawks outscored CAL 12-2 in the final quarter to force overtime.  CAL shot 42.9% from the field including 10 of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 41.7% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 10 points off eight CAL turnovers.

 

Sydney Raque led CAL with 22 points including six three point baskets and three rebounds.  Jaya McClure added 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  5-6 Fr. Ella Daniels recorded eight points including two three point baskets and two rebounds.  Savannah Gardner chipped in with seven points and two rebounds.

 

Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 26 points and four rebounds.  Rachel Smith added 13 points including three three point baskets and three assists.  Ava Schureman and 6-0 Sr. Lauren Tucker pulled down nine and eight rebounds respectively.
