Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Josie Gilvin, 5-8 Fr. Reagan Bender, 6-0 Jr. Alex Wolff, 5-5 So. Triniti Ralston, and 5-6 Sr. Maggie Montano.  Bardstown coach Amber Courtney countered with 5-6 Jr. Jaileyah Cotton, 5-6 So. Kaia Grabbert, 5-7 Sr. Sophia Downs, 5-5 Sr. Ma Tija Yocum, and 5-6 Jr. Kadence Walls.

 

Bardstown outscored Sacred Heart Academy 25-16 in the final quarter to earn a 69-65 come-from-behind victory.  The score was tied seven times and there were four lead changes in the game.  Bardstown shot 45.6% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Tigers connected on 13 of 28 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 35.7% from the field including six of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored eight points off 18 Bardstown turnovers.

 

Jaileyah Cotton led Bardstown with 38 points including two three point baskets, six of seven free throws, 15 rebounds, and three steals.  Kadence Walls added 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Kaia Grabbert recorded nine points, five rebounds, and four assists.  Ma Tija Yocum chipped in with five points and eight rebounds.

 

Triniti Ralston led Sacred Heart Academy with 23 points including two three point baskets, five of eight free throws, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Alex Wolff added 12 points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Reagan Bender recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and two steals.  5-7 Fr. Emi-Lee Howe chipped in with six points, six rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.
