Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-8 Fr. Lizzy Nelson, 5-7 Fr. Lydia Van Metre, 5-11 Jr. Kennedy Williams, 5-2 8th Grade Ariyanna Sutton, and 5-7 Sr. Ravion Jackson.  Bryan Station coach Brian Hall countered with 5-10 Jr. Tania Woodall, 5-8 Jr. TaShawna Jackson, 6-2 Sr. Olea Woodall, 5-4 Sr. Escarlis Perez, and 5-5 So. Emily Gomez.

 

Tania Woodall hit a field goal with 17 seconds remaining on the clock to give Bryan Station a 54-52 lead over Henry Clay.  Kennedy Williams missed a field goal and Tania Woodall pulled down the defensive rebound to ensure the victory.  Bryan Station led 30-16 late in the second quarter but Henry Clay fought back to tie the game.  Bryan Station shot 36.4% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored nine points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 44.9% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on five of 14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Tania Woodall led Bryan Station with 26 points including two three point baskets, four of six free throws, nine rebounds, and two steals.  TaShawna Jackson added 11 points and 10 rebounds.  Olea Woodall recorded six points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Lydia Van Metre led Henry Clay with 13 points including four of five free throws.  5-6 Fr. Timari Miller added 12 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Kennedy Williams recorded eight points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Ariyanna Sutton chipped in with eight points and Ravion Jackson recorded seven points, four rebounds, and four assists.
