Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Sr. Kaylie Wise, 5-7 Jr. Brianna Penney, 6-0 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-6 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, and 5-6 Jr. Emma Price.
Scott County defeated Bryan Station by the score of 56-45. Scott County shot 29.4% from the field including two of 17 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 26 free throws, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 24 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 25% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Scott County turnovers.
Maleiyah Moore led Scott County with 21 points including four of four free throws, five rebounds, two assists, and five steals. Kenady Tompkins added 20 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and four steals. Emma Price recorded seven points, six rebounds, and two steals. 5-6 So. Tyra Young added three points, 11 rebounds, and four blocked shots.
Tania Woodall led Bryan Station with 12 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, and four steals. 5-6 So. Makari Murphy added 12 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and three steals. Olea Woodall recorded seven points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. TaShawna Jackson chipped in with four points and eight rebounds.
