Lexington Christian Academy coach Haley Lee started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Gracie Royalty, 5-7 8th Grade Claire Roberts, 6-0 Sr. Emilie Teall, 5-6 Jr. Jaden Kenney, and 5-7 Jr. Sophia Gabbert.  Tates Creek coach Matt Yates countered with 5-8 Jr. Caty Amishaw, 5-7 Sr.  Aaleyah Yates, 5-8 Jr. Joyce Mukalamusi, 5-5 Jr. Maddie Kauffman, and 5-2 Jr. Alisce Lyvers.

 

Lexington Christian Academy led 33-31 at halftime but Tates Creek outscored the Lady Eagles 27-16 in the third quarter on their way to a 78-64 victory.  Tates Creek shot 40.3% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 27 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 46.7% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Tates Creek turnovers.

 

Maddie Kauffman led Tates Creek with 26 points including four three point baskets, four of four free throws, five rebounds, and five assists.  Caty Amishaw added 17 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Alisce Lyvers recorded 10 points including five of six free throws.  Joyce Mukalamusi chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

 

Jaden Kenney led Lexington Christian Academy with 27 points including 11 of 13 free throws, six rebounds, and three assists.  Sophia Gabbert added 14 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Claire Roberts recorded 10 points, four rebounds, and four assists.  Emilie Teall chipped in with nine points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Gracie Royalty pulled down 10 rebounds.
