Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Tim Hall Jr., 6-4 Jr. Zach Carter, 6-8 Jr. Lionel Kumwimba, 6-0 So. Nick Spalding, and 6-1 Jr. Max VanDyke.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-2 Sr. Daniel Kinley, 6-3 Sr. Campbell DeYoung, 6-5 Jr. Abe Nelson, 5-10 Sr. Kobe Blake, and 5-10 Sr. Will Stanfield.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Lafayette by the score of 64-54.  There were four ties and 11 lead changes in this game.  Dunbar shot 56.1% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 43.1% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on four of 11 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Dunbar turnovers.

 

Tim Hall Jr. led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 28 points including eight of 11 free throws, seven rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.  Nick Spalding added 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists.  6-3 Jr. Cade Hilt recorded eight points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Zach Carter chipped in with seven points, three rebounds, and three assists.

 

6-2 Sr. Tori Turner led Lafayette with 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals.  Abe Nelson added 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Will Stanfield recorded 11 points.
