Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Darik Holman, 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-3 Sr. Harrison Lynch, 5-8 So. Konlin Brown, and 6-1 Jr. Kanye Henderson. Franklin County coach Tony Wise countered with 6-3 Sr. Fred Farrier II, 6-2 Sr. Nick Broyles, 6-5 Sr. Phillip Peiffer, 5-8 Jr. Zac Cox, and 6-3 Jr. Jayden Mattison.
Franklin County defeated Henry Clay by the score of 51-44. The score was tied twice and there were four lead changes in the game. Franklin County shot 51.4% from the field including five of nine from the three point line. The Flyers connected on eight of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 28.6% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Franklin County turnovers.

Fred Farrier II recorded 11 points and three steals. Jayden Mattison chipped in with seven points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Nick Broyles added four points, six rebounds, and three assists.
Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 15 points including three three point baskets, four of four free throws, five rebounds, and three assists. Kanye Henderson added 12 points and three rebounds. Darik Holman recorded four points and seven rebounds.
