Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Josie Gilvin, 5-8 Fr. Reagan Bender, 6-0 Jr. Alex Wolff, 5-5 So. Triniti Ralston, and 5-6 Sr. Maggie Montano. Central coach Deshawn Pendleton countered with 5-11 So. JaLa Douglas, 5-8 Sr. Navaria Green, 6-0 Jr. Briontanay Marshall, 5-6 Jr. Dejah Armstrong, and 5-6 Jr. Amaya Asher.
Sacred Heart Academy handed the Central Lady Jackets their first loss of the year by the score of 54-51. The score was tied 12 times and there were 15 lead changes in this game. Central had one last chance but an off balance three point shot at the buzzer was off target. Sacred Heart Academy shot 32.6% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 22 of 32 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Central turnovers. Central shot 37.8% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jackets connected on 37 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Sacred Heart turnovers.
Triniti Ralston led Sacred Heart Academy with 18 points including nine of 14 free throws, three rebounds, and four assists. Reagan Bender added 14 points including two three point baskets, eight of 10 free throws, and six rebounds. Josie Gilvin recorded 13 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
6-0 Sr. Wanda Stevenson led Central with 11 points and nine rebounds. Amaya Asher added nine points, seven rebounds, and nine assists. Dejah Armstrong recorded nine points and three rebounds. 5-11 Sr. Taylor Price chipped in with nine points and four rebounds. Briontanay Marshall added six points and six rebounds.
