Bishop Brossart Coach Kevin Bundy started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Lauren Macht, 5-7 Sr. Rosie Jump, 6-0 Sr. Marie Kiefer, 5-4 Jr. Madison Patrker, and 5-5 Sr. Jordan Rowe.  Bowling Green coach Calvin Head countered with 5-10 So. Meadow Tisdale, 5-8 So. Tanaya Bailey, 5-11 Jr. Lynkaylah James, 5-0 Sr. Kiyah Gray, and 5-2 Jr. Ava Bennett.

 

Bowling Green defeated Bishop Brossart 50-48 in two overtimes.  Bowling Green shot 35.4% from the field including one of three from the three point line.  The Purples connected on 15 of 29 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and committed 19 turnovers.  Bishop Brossart shot 30.6% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady ‘Stangs connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and committed 23 turnovers.

 

Lynkaylah James led Bowling Green with 15 points, 19 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Meadow Tisdale added 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, four blocked shots, and two steals.  Tanaya Bailey recorded nine points, two rebounds, and three steals.  Emma Huskey chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and two assists.

 

Laureen Macht led Bishop Brossart with 16 points including four three point baskets.  Rosie Jump added 15 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and seven assists.  Marie Kiefer recorded seven points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and nine blocked shots.
