Marshall County coach Aaron Beth started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Jada Driver, 5-7 Sr. Cayson Conner, 6-2 Jr. Halle Langhi, 5-3 Sr. Layne Pea, and 5-6 Sr.Presley Jezik.  Pikeville coach Kristy Orem countered with 5-9 Jr. Kylie Hall, 5-5 Fr.Kristen Whited, 5-10 Sr. Kenzie Maynard, 5-2 Jr. Emma Ratliff, and 5-5 Fr. Trinity Rowe.

 

Marshall County defeated Pikeville by the score of 56-52.  Marshall County shot 36.4% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Marshalls connected on 20 of 34 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers.  Pikeville shot 45.5% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and committed 18 turnovers.

 

Cayson Conner led Marshall County with 22 points including 12 of 15 free throws, four rebounds, and five assists.  Jada Driver added 12 points including three three point baskets.  Layne Pea recorded nine points and two assists.  Halle Langhi chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  6-1 Sr. Sophie Galloway added four points, eight rebounds, and two steals.

 

Trinity Rowe led Pikeville with 18 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and seven assists.  Kenzie Maynard added 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and five blocked shots.  Emma Ratliff recorded eight points, three rebounds, and three assists.  Kristen Whited chipped in with six points on two three point baskets.  5-6 Fr. Rylee Theiss added four points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
