Apollo coach Natalie Payne started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Zoe Floyd, 5-7 Jr. Shelbie Beatty, 5-10 Sr. Amber Dunn, 5-4 Jr. Amaya Curry, and 5-6 Sr. Kassidy Daugherty.  Henderson County coach Jeff Haile countered with 5-10 So. Jarie Thomas, 5-6 Sr. Lauren Hubbard, 5-10 Sr. M Kyra Dixon, 5-4 Sr. Sadie Wurth, and 5-5 Jr. Kaytlan Kemp.

 

Henderson County defeated Apollo by the score of 55-31.  Henderson County shot 47.8% from the field including five of 13 from the three point lie.  The Lady Colonels connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers.  Apollo shot 33.3% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  They connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.

 

Jarie Thomas led Henderson County with 17 points and five rebounds.  Sadie Wurth added 13 poits including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and five assists.  Kaytlan Kemp recorded eight points, three rebounds, and three assists.  M Kyra Dixon chipped in with four points, seven rebounds, ad five assists.

 

Shelbie Beatty led Apollo with 11 points.  Amaya Curry added eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Amber Dunn recorded seven points ad two rebounds.
