Bowling Green coach Calvin Head started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Meadow Tisdale, 5-8 So.Tanaya Bailey, 5-11 Jr. Lynkaylah James, 5-0 Sr. Kiyah Gray, and 5-2 Jr. Ava Bennett.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-10 Jr. Josie Gilvin, 5-8 Fr. Reagan Bender, 6-0 Jr. Alexandra Wolff, 5-5 So. Triniti Ralston, and 5-6 Sr. Maggie Montano.

 

Sacred Heart Academy pulled away in the second half to defeat Bowling Green by the score of 66-54.  Sacred Heart shot 35% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 21 of 26 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and committed 13 turnovers.  Bowling Green shot 46.5% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Purples connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and committed 29 turnovers.

 

Triniti Ralston led Sacred Heart Academy with 26 points including 16 of 20 free throws, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  6-0 Fr. Angelina Pelayo added eight points, five rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Reagan Bender recorded eight points, four rebounds, and two steals.  Alexandra Wolff chipped in with eight points and two rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Olivia Kaufman added eight points including two three point baskets.  Josie Gilvin recorded six points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and seven steals.

 

Tanaya Bailey led Bowling Green with 15 points and three assists.  Lynkaylah James added 14 points including five of seven free throws, 14 rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals.  Meadow Tisdale recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and two assists.  Kiyah Gray chipped in with nine points including five of seven free throws, and three rebounds.
