Bethlehem coach Jason Clark started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Ella Thompson, 5-7 Jr. Kasey Spalding, 6-0 So. Emma Filiatreau, 5-5 Fr. Carlie Thurmond, and 5-5 Sr. Amelia Hodges.  Marshall County coach Aaron Beth countered with 5-11 Jr. Jada Driver, 5-6 Se. Presley Jezik, 6-2 Jr. Halle Langhi, 5-3 Sr. Layne Pea, and 5-7 Sr. Cayson Conner.

 

Marshall County trailed 28-26 at halftime but rallied in the second half to defeat Bethlehem by the score of 58-51.  Marshall County shot 39.5% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Marshals connected on 18 of 22 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed 28 turnovers.  Bethlehem shot 32.7% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Banshees connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.

 

Cayson Conner led Marshall County with 24 points including seven of eight free throws, four rebounds, and two steals.  Halle Langhi added 15 points including eight of 10 free throws, and 12 rebounds. 

 

Ella Thompson led Bethlehem with 20 points including seven of nine free throws, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Amelia Hodges added 12 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and three assists.  Carlie Thurmond recorded seven points including four of four free throws, five rebounds, and two assists.  Xaviara Smalley chipped in with four points and 13 rebounds.
