Fremont coach Lisa Dalabout started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Emma Calvert, 5-8 Sr. Averee Porter, 6-5 So. Maggie Mendelson, 5-8 Jr. Mia Austin, and 5-8 Sr. Haile Duff.  Westlake coach Hilda Hankerson countered with 6-0 Sr. Misia McKinney, 5-10 Sr. Raven Johnson, 6-2 Fr. Brianna Turnage, 5-9 Jr. Taniya Latson, and 5-9 Jr. Camerah Langston.

 

Westlake defeated Fremont by the score of 64-54.  Westlake shot 42.4% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  They connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 20 Fremont turnovers.  Fremont shot 44.7% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc.  They connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Westlake turnovers.

 

Taniya Latson led Westlake with 26 points including seven of 10 free throws, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Raven Johnson added 25 points including four three point baskets, 10 rebounds, nine assists, and seven steals.  Brianna Turnage recorded five points, 10 rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots, and two steals.

 

Maggie Mendelson led Fremont with 23 points including three of three free throws, six rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Emma Calvert added 13 points including three of four free throws, 11 rebounds, and two assists.  Averee Porter recorded eight points and three assists.  Mia Austin chipped in with seven points including two three point baskets.
