Berea started the following lineup: Maddy King, Abigail Beard, Chesney Lovins, Lauren Stepp, and Natalea Clark. Madison Central coach Ashley Snow countered with Tiana Long, Nataya Strader, Bailey Hensley, Brittany Campbell, and Presley Lochmuller.
Berea led by six points with 1:18 left in the game but Madison Central rallied for a 47-46 victory. The score was tied three times and there were three lead changes in the game. The Lady Indians connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 29 Berea turnovers. Berea shot 37.8% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Pirates connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 25 Madison Central turnovers.
Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 17 points and six rebounds. Brittany Campbell added seven points, three rebounds, three assists, and five steals. Bailey Hensley recorded seven points and six rebounds. Eden Carter chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and three steals.
