Madison Southern started the following lineup: Tara Wooten, Hannah Ashcraft, Mackenzie Lopez, Jada Carter, and Hadley French.  Madison Central coach Ashley Snow countered with Bailey Hensley, Nataya Strader, Presley Lochmuller, Brittany Campbell, and Tiana Long.

Dismal shooting (18.6% from the field and 40% from the free throw line) doomed Madison Central tonight as they dropped a 34-24 decision to Madison Southern.  Madison Southern shot 32.3% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  They connected on 13 of 25 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 18.6% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Madison Southern turnovers.

Jada Carter led Madison Southern with 13 points including five of seven free throws, and 10 rebounds.  Hadley French added eight points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Ashlan Estep recorded five points and four rebounds.  Tara Wooten chipped in with four points, two rebounds, and five steals.

Nataya Strader led Madison Central with seven points.  Brittany Campbell added six points.  Bailey Hensley recorded two points, seven rebounds, and two steals.
