Oldham County defeated Bullitt East by the score of 26-20. Oldham County recorded 12 first times and 243 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized six times for 55 yards and lost two fumbles. Bullitt East recorded 22 first downs and 361 yards of total offense. The Chargers were penalized eight times for 70 yards and lost three fumbles.
Sam Young led Oldham County’s ground game with 100 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Trent Garrison carried the ball nine times for 39 yards and a touchdown. Caden Sheppard recorded 22 yards on eight carries. Justin Ruffin chipped in with 17 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Sam Young completed two of seven passes for 65 yards. Jaxon Elkins caught two passes for 65 yards. Trey Cotton led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles. Dustin Keown added six solo and one assisted tackles. Wesley Rios-Lara recorded four solo and two assisted tackles. Dustin Keown and Travis Edgar each recovered a fumble.
Mason Gauthier led Bullitt East’s ground game with 122 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. Travis Egan carried the ball 11 times for 85 yards. Travis Egan completed 15 of 34 passes for 154 yards and one touchdown. Nolan Davenport caught nine passes for 115 yards and one touchdown. Caden Bostock and Patrick Ballard each returned one kickoff for 23 and 21 yards respectively. Ethan Taipalus led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles. Braxton Joslin added five solo and one assisted tackles. Jack Zweremann recorded four solo tackles.
