Madison Southern coach Austin Newton started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Jay Rose, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-6 Jr. Brett Erslan, 5-8 Fr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 So. Braden Hudson.  Woodford County coach Jaron Brown countered with 6-3 So. Tyler Doyle, 6-0 So. Taylor Penn, 6-3 So. Righteous Harris, 5-8 Fr. Santonio Waide, and 5-10 Sr. Brian White.

Woodford County outscored Madison Southern 24-9 in the third quarter on their way to a 64-46 victory.  Woodford County shot 59.5% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Yellowjackets connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 13 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 38.1% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored eight points off 13 Woodford County turnovers.

Brian White led Woodford County with 18 points including five three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists.  Tyler Doyle added 12 points, three rebounds, seven assists, and for steals.  Santonio Waide and 6-3 Fr. Jasper Johnson each scored eight points.  6-4 So. Rico Jones-Miller recorded six points and seven rebounds.

Brett Erslan led Madison Southern with 15 points, four rebounds, and two steals.  Jay Rose added 14 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.
