Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-2 Jr. Kyan Miller, 6-7 Sr. Brenden Wicker, 5-9 Jr. Konlin Brown, and 6-1 Sr. Kanye Henderson.  Western Hills coach Geoff Cody countered with 6-4 Jr. Walter Campbell, 6-2 Sr. Zach Semones, 6-5 Fr. Javeon Campbell, 5-8 Sr. Navi Starks, and 5-5 Sr. Jayden Myers.

 

Henry Clay defeated Western Hills by the score of 83-65.  Henry Clay shot 51.4% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on four of four free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 47.4% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored two points off five Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 14 points, five rebounds, and five steals.  6-0 Jr. Mason Hawkins added 13 points and six rebounds.  Konlin Brown recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, and three assists.  Kanye Henderson chipped in with 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  5-9 Jr. Sincere Madison added nine points.

 

Javeon Campbell led Western Hills with 33 points including 13 of 16 from the field and seven of 10 free throws, and 14 rebounds.  Zach Semones added 16 points including two three point baskets and four assists.  Walter Campbell recorded 13 points, nine rebounds, and three steals.
