Covington Holy Cross coach Casey Sorrell started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Dylan Arlinghaus, 6-1 Jr. Jacob Meyer, 6-10 Jr. Sam Gibson, 5-7 Sr. Zach Arlinghaus, and 5-8 Jr. Javier Ward.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall countered with 6-3 Fr. Andrersen Green, 6-0 Fr. Hagan Preston, 6-4 Jr. Tyler Hall, 6-0 So. Brayden Mirus, and 6-0 Sr. Jack Preston.

Covington Holy Cross buoyed by a record breaking performance by Jacob Meyer with 53 points recorded a 78-74 come-from-behind victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  The score was tied nine times and there were 13 lead changes in the game.  Holy Cross shot 52.6% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 46.3% from the field including 13 of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 10 points off seven Holy Cross turnovers.

Jacob Meyer led Holy Cross with 53 points including 11 of 14 free throws and 21 of 33 from the field, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Javier Ward added 18 points including four three point baskets.  Sam Gibson pulled down nine rebounds and blocked three shots.

Brayden Mirus led LCA with 22 points including two three point baskets, eight of nine free throws, two rebounds, and two assists.  Andersen Green added 21 points including five three point baskets, three rebounds, and six assists.  Tyler Hall recorded 12 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists.  Jack Preston chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets, two rebounds, and four assists.
