South Laurel coach Jeff Davis started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Brayden Reed, 6-1 Jr. Eli Gover, 6-6 Sr. Rhys England, 5-11 So. Ashton Garland, and 6-0 Jr. Parker Payne.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 6-1 Jr. Micah Glenn.

Scott County led 61-48 in the final quarter but South Laurel finished the game on a 17-2 run to earn a 65-63 victory.  South Laurel shot 47.2% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 18 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 50% from the field including nine of 18 from beyond the arc, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 South Laurel turnovers.

Eli Gover led South Laurel with 16 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four steals.  Parker Payne added 14 points including two three point baskets and three assists.  Rhys England recorded 11 points and five rebounds.  6-2 Jr. Caden Jones chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds.  Brayden Reed added nine points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

JZ Middleton led Scott County with 21 points including four three point baskets, three of three free throws, seven assists, and two steals.  Isaiah Haynes added 11 points.  Jeremy Hamilton recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds.  Nick Mosby chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists.
