Rockcastle County coach Andrew Cash started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Skyler Durham, 6-3 Sr. Daniel Mullins, 6-6 Sr. Jake Sanders, 5-9 Sr. Reese Coguer, and 6-2 Sr. Jonathan Hopkins.  Madison Southern coach Austin Newton countered with 6-6 Sr. Nate Turner, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-6 Jr. Brett Erslan, 6-0 So. Braden Hudson, and 6-3 So. Blake Rose.

Madison Southern defeated Rockcastle County by the score of 67-57.  Madison Southern shot 47.8% from the field including nine of 25 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 18 Rockcastle County turnovers.  Rockcastle County shot 48.8% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Madison Central turnovers.

Braden Hudson led Madison Southern with 19 points including four three point baskets, five of six free throws, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Jay Rose added 16 points including two three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.  Nate Turner recorded 14 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  6-1 Jr. Kyle Linville chipped in with nine points, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Brett Erslan recorded eight points and 10 rebounds. 

Jonathan Hopkins led Rockcastle County with 16 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and seven assists.  5-11 Sr. Matthew Chasteen added 13 points, five rebounds, and four steals.  Daniel Mullins recorded 12 points including two three point baskets.  Reese Coguer chipped in with six points, three rebounds, four assists, and six steals.
