Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 6-1 Jr. Micah Glenn.  Frederick Douglass coach Jason Moseley countered with 6-7 Jr. Tyson Barrett, 6-0 Jr. Tylon Webb, 6-7 Sr. Shemar O’Roy-Ford, 5-5 Fr. Armelo Boone, and 5-11 Jr. Kai Simpson.

Scott County defeated Frederick Douglass by the score of 74-67.  Scott County shot 44.2% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 22 of 26 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Frederick Douglass turnovers.  Frederick Douglass shot 42.9% from the field including six of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Broncos connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

Nick Mosby led Scott County with 21 points including two three point baskets, seven of nine free throws, 10 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Isaiah Haynes added 20 points including two three point baskets, and six rebounds.  Micah Glenn recorded 19 points including 10 of 11 free throws, eight rebounds, and four assists. 

Kai Simpson led Frederick Douglass with 25 points including three three point baskets, six of six free throws, three rebounds, and four assists.  Tyson Barrett added 13 points and nine rebounds.  5-11 Jr. Cameron Dunn recorded nine points.  Armelo Boone and Tylon Webb each scored eight points.
